Actually theres a lot of reasons to travel into space. A. When we get good at it theres a whole lot of resources out there just waiting for us to plunder!! yarrgh!! B. There are some Zero-G production methods that are only available in (you guessed it!) ZERO-G!! or near zero-g C. A moon base is the next logical step, if we want to be able to get out to other planets easily with minimal fuel costs starting from an intermediate such as the moon which requires so little fuel to take off from is just the smart option D. There has been plenty of research and development into space vehicles, there was the Antari X competition, theres an entire company called Transformational Space Corporation who are actively designing and testing spacecraft for commercial purposes!! E. There hasn't been a space launch from Nasa since 2003 because of space shuttle columbia and their need to make all the current and future space craft as safe as possible!! that took 2 years and another launched in 05 and there were a further 2 launched to ISS to help build it up in 2006. Hardly dead :P Just thought i'd point these out...

I swear to god, i just sat there for 5 minutes staring at the screen after seeing the trailer for the new AVP, sent shivers down my spine and almost made me cream my pants!! This movie as far as i'm concerned (Don't care what ANYONE else says) Is going to rock some serious hardcore socks!! lol.

Thats a little closed minded isn't it DemolitionsGeek? i mean sometimes a riot is because the government deserves it and the riot police or those trying to hold back the rioters actually ARE the oppressors!! Not saying in all cases, just suggesting that sometimes it may be necessary... i do love the irony of Anti-War Protestors getting all violent :P
