I won't deny that I've done Diet Coke and pizza before. But, I don't drink the Diet Coke because I think it'll magically counteract the pizza. I always drink diet sodas. I just happen to think they taste better. The fact that it's saving about 200 calories per serving is a nice bonus, but certainly not the motivating factor in my choice.
