@ Jesuspocalypse Right on man! Always wanted to see the insides of the Leo 2, since we both use the same main gun. I have a question, if you're able to answer of course. Our platoons run with 4 tanks, 3 platoons per company and 2 tanks in our HQ platoon. Are your platoons / companies organized the same way?

LOL, I can just picture a bunch of kids in a skate park, then all of a sudden this MGS comes flying out of nowhere, trying to pull some "mad skills." - Comment on blue bullets (2011-03-16 10:33:21)
Blue tipped munitions usually mean they're for training. On our Abrams, we would fire our main gun rounds that were blue tipped, for training at the gunnery range. For instance, instead of the HEAT round being packed with explosive fun, it's simply filled with concrete. (equivalent weight, but no need to decimate a plywood target, haha) - Comment on tank ramp (2011-03-15 17:52:20)
The ramp is used to calibrate the gun to the optics system on board the vehicle. We use the same thing with our M1A2 SEP Abrams MBT, to triangulate the cannon, Gunners Primary Site and Commander Independent Thermal Viewer. Has nothing to do with recoil, or whatever else you guys came up with. If you needed a ramp to help you absorb or reduce the recoil of the gun, it would be pretty damn useless in combat. - Medically Retired SSG, US Army Tank Commander from 2001 - 2007. - Comment on I'd hit that like a fucking flying tank (2011-03-01 22:17:10)
It's a Merkava Mk. 3, Malta is right. Also, it has great suspension, hydraulic I might add. Able to prop the tank up and over defilade to maximize cover and engagement time. - Comment on Modified World Press Photo of the Year 2010 (2011-02-24 18:35:57)
Yup, here it is in it's original form. Just scroll down. http://totallycoolpix.com/2011/02/world-press-photo-of-the-year-2010/ The 18 year old woman had her ears and nose cut off because she fled her husbands house, because he was too violent. In response the local Taliban leader ordered her husband to cut her nose and ears off as "justice" for leaving her husband. Nice place that Douchebagistan is. - Comment on Modified World Press Photo of the Year 2010 (2011-02-24 18:31:30)
A lot of Afghan women have their noses, ears and lips sometimes removed because they defied local law, or angered their husband in some way. Typical pussy antics to have it blacked out. - Comment on from the "Too Much Time on My Hands" files (2011-02-18 19:16:00)
I have seen these same builds and pictures on some of the Lego free build sites I used to look at. If you're the same guy, then well done. If not, for shame. - Comment on Wisdom Teeth Extraction (2011-01-18 16:38:36)
Ensures are also good as well. I drank those quite a bit when I was in the hospital for 2 years, and for both of my wisdom tooth extractions. DO NOT use a straw, you might get some of the liquid in your wisdom tooth cavity which could lead to a dry socket or infection, and you don't want that at all. The Lipton Noodle soups with the small bits are nice and easy to eat, as well as the Campbell's Soup on the Go like Saborlas mentioned are great. Pudding, Jello, Ice Cream, etc. Honestly, I played a lot of video games when I was laid out. Kept my mind busy and help me forget about the pain since I don't like taking pain medications. While I was in the hospital for another major surgery, my nerve blocks failed and I was SOL for pain suppression, other than my own will. You know what got me through it? Lego's. The wife bought me some of the collectors series Star Wars Lego sets, and I spent all day putting them together, and pretty much ignoring the pain. Also, make sure you spit the blood out. If you swallow to much of it, you could make yourself sick and vomit is bad for open wounds in your mouth. =) Good luck! - Comment on insane rocket launcher (2010-11-22 22:57:53)
Aside from gtate squaring you away, have you ever fired belt fed weapons, or are you just one of those COD Commando's? - Comment on broken gun (2010-11-22 18:50:59)
To be honest, I think someone tried to fire it with a cleaning rod still inside the barrel. My first company commander did this to his .50 cal M2HB. Left a sighting device in the end of the barrel, forgot about it and when he engaged his targets on the range that night... blew the barrel out like a flower head. - Comment on insane rocket launcher (2010-11-22 18:45:19)
This thing sucks to take apart and clean / fix. But the Mk19 still has it's uses. Just remember to make sure you load the grenade belt the right way... to many people try to load it upside down and ruin the loading mechanism. =( - Comment on pirate wallpaper (2010-11-19 20:04:00)
My friends and I call him Critplank, lol. My wife and I ALSO play League of Legends. Great little game, especially for being free! - Comment on ammo wallpaper (2010-11-19 19:59:55)
Happiness is a belt fed weapon. - Comment on The Walking Whore (2010-11-13 12:53:18)
The Walking Dead Google it. If you like Zombies, you'll most likely like this show. I plan on reading all the comics after the season is over.
