Very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet. My father would womanize, he would drink, he would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Some times he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy, the sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. My childhood was typical, summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds, pretty standard really. At the age of 12 I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen, a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles. There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum, it's breathtaking, I suggest you try it. IIRC, last one was from you. It was at least a year & a half ago, so that's an acceptable time for a repost. You're just taking issue because it was one of yours. :P - Comment on Aperture Laboratories wallpaper (2010-03-13 19:12:52)

WHO THE HELL DOWNVOTED THIS? You need to be shot. A 5 star piece, to be sure! - Comment on Tyranids! (2010-03-11 17:53:03)
Thanks Sarcastastic! I really appreciate that. I thought long & hard about the scheme for these guys. I knew I would be painting a lot of them, so I needed to go to a palate I was comfortable with. I love working with greens & browns, so Hive Fleet Arborous was born. I have a lot of fun finishing the bases with bits of moss, lichen & twig. I can really imagine how terrible it must be to fight a swarm like this on a forest world, which they were obviously bred for assaulting. When I get around to doing my Genestealers, I'm contemplating gluing some static grass to their back-carapaces, too. Not sure how that will go, so I'll have to do up a test-piece first. - Comment on Tyranids! (2010-03-11 17:09:02)
I've done two Defilers. The first was standard kit. The second I bought on discount. It was already built, and falling apart. The shooty bits on either side of the upper body were not attached, nor was the head. I wound up cutting off the pincer arms. I ran a brass rod through the body, between the holes for the guns. I attached the pincer arms to either end of the brass rod, so they basically come out of the upper body now, where the lascannon & flamer should be. I then attached those guns to the underside of said pincer arms. I have a chaos havoc missile launcher from a Land Raider as it's head (it fits so nice...the disc on the base is the correct size). It turned out really nice, and I'm glad I was brave enough to attempt the conversion. I probably wouldn't have with a stock kit, but a half-price busted defiler makes a great canvas. - Comment on FFFFFFFFFFFFFFIIIIIIRRRRRREEEEEEE (2010-03-11 14:09:25)
Shit happened every time I tried to play the fucking Sims. Eventually I gave up on trying to make a happy family, and instead decided to do a pictorial series using the game engine. I had the family kidnap a delivery woman and wall her in a small room upstairs. Eventually, she got sick of wallowing in her own urine and died of ennui and starvation. - Comment on Tyranids! Technically, they all have fleshborers. I bought a bunch of McCraggee sprues off of ebay to flesh out the army, and those are nothing but 2-piece fleshborer Termagants. I only play against my friends, so we allow a bit of 'counts as' in our games. Because of this, I typically field them as having spinefists, and nothing else. A swarm of 96 gaunts at 5 points each is fantastic. This was the 4th edition cost, I'm not sure how it carries over with the new codex. I have a pdf copy, but I haven't had a chance to read it yet. - Comment on Tyranids! (2010-03-11 12:28:47)
How do you play a small Tyranids army? :D I have 96 Gaunts, 16 Hormagaunts, 32 Genestealers, 2 Zoanthropes, 2 Lictors, 3 Biovores, 3 Warriors, 1 Carnifex, 1 Tyrant, 1 Broodlord, and a whole mess of spore mines. I need to get painting again. - Comment on teleport mishap (2010-03-11 12:08:54)
Back when I was heavy into RPG's (the dice & paper kind), the chronic mishap charts in the back of any rulebook were important criteria in deciding which games to buy. A few games had some truly epic mishap charts. Death & dismemberment was always fun, as were venereal diseases. - Comment on Plasma Hand washer. (2010-03-09 18:56:55)

Also, why is it that the only picture of it where we can tell that it's turned on has a dude wearing a thick rubber glove? You're not convincing me of it's safety.
