Off the top of my head... President Clinton in his term removed the deficit and created a surplus. And don't you mean "from them?"

    Small correction. 40 years ago.

I hope that kind is wearing it for the irony. Probably not. I still can't believe the media has fanned this thing to the level that it's gotten to. No, I'm not just blaming Fox News, though that video of the producer egging the chanters on at the 50,000 person march is deliciously disgraceful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPYbPsvOnX8 No, it's also the "liberal media" who keeps running these stories, pushing them for protests, and lending it legitimacy through its coverage, because it sells papers and makes ratings. Fox News are the retards that would rather burn the ship down with them on it than let someone else at the helm, but the other media are handing them the box of matches.

I almost agreed with you 'til the last line. "I don't expect everyone to be smart enough." Go fuck yourself, and a smarter person wouldn't have started a paragraph with "I do not agreed."

World War 1 Great Depression World War 2 (in her 40s no less) The first Televisions Civil Rights Movement Rise of Computers Fall of Berlin Wall The Dawn of the Internet First Black President That's just history class stuff and very common electronics. I hope I live to see that much history.

It's pretty damn cool. The question is, will it still be cool in 20 years?

Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it.
  • Comment on A man who saved over a billion lives died today!!! (2009-09-17 00:27:49)
Yeah, but he's proposing a 25% population growth (2.5 over 2), when in fact right now it's at 1.188%. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=world+population+growth What people assume and how the world actually is are two different things. The last time we rediscovered that we had the Renaissance. Sorry for the snark, but I just wish people would actually think, instead of the kind of thinking this guy claims to use.

The world growth percentage is actually declining. Here, straight from the government census for the last 50 years, plus projected: http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/img/worldgr.gif So, if you actually think about it - and I mean actually think and check your facts - no, he did not create more suffering.

That's disturbing, but it's no Girl in Concrete. That'll keep you up at night.
  • Comment on How to cut down a tree (2009-09-15 00:45:31)
Yeah, that looks to be on purpose. They are just waaaaaaay to calm about potentially destroying someone's home. Posing for a camera would not happen.

I think you mean horribly awesome. I used to love this game.

This man has been in a nap since Bush gave his speech about Saddam having yellow cake uranium. He woke up to yell out "liar!" but was surprised to see Obama in office.
  • Comment on Hardcore: (2009-09-10 04:23:49)
Well, yeah. Hardcore used to mean something. Now it means being really into something stupid like emo fashion or video games. It definitely no longer means being "hard," unless hard now means overly sensitive and afraid to leave one's social circle of comfort.
