@hairy_testicles I take it you've never been to Amsterdam. It's taxed there, and you can get an 8th for about €5. That's roughly $8 American. You see, there's this thing called supply & demand. Supply for marijuana is low, believe it or not, and demand is high. There's also a relative lack of price competition, due to lack of advertising & easy access due to... I don't know... being illegal. Remember the American prohibition? Guess what? Alcohol prices soared. Don't claim to be the unrecognized scholar without doing a little critical thinking yourself as well. @#KommissarKvC "...if drug dealers are forced to commit other crimes..." O_o WTF? Learn to argue. What conditions are forcing them to commit other crimes? What does this have to do with legalization? I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say, as I can see your gibberish being both pro- and anti- legalization.

@ fracked again Are you honestly saying there is no acknowledged medical use for marijuana? Seriously? @ bstaples Causality, correlation. I suggest you learn the difference. Blaming people of those lower incomes for being stupid on using marijuana is like blaming them for being stupid on locking themselves out of the house. They were already stupid to begin with. The second part just exasperated the situation. - Comment on Potential Tax Revenue from Marijuana Production (2009-11-21 19:16:08)
Advil kills more people than marijuana. Sure, people have died while under the influence, but they were 99.99+% of the time also drinking or doing something else. Confounds, causation, correlation, etc. Legalizing and taxing marijuana (which honestly wouldn't net *that* much revenue - I can't see dealers filling out tax returns for it) would save us enough federal and state dollars to get a lot of states out of the hole. Oh, well. The United States is nothing if not a land of tradition, desperately grasping at anything (like 40 years of ex-Confederate soldiers calling themselves cowboys) to make up for our lack of long term cultural history. One 1930's law is now considered the only way to do things, classifying it as a Schedule 1 narcotic with heroin & mescaline. Cocaine is only Schedule 2! - Comment on Arnold and Hugh (2009-11-21 01:05:21)
Arnold is pissed, because next to Wilt Chamberlain & Hugh Hefner, his womanizing career is but a drop in a pail. - Comment on Waw waw waw waw waw waaaaawww (2009-11-20 11:55:47)

Agreed with obeying all or none of Leviticus & Deuteronomy. I mean, god is infallible, right? Therefore, his laws are either always 100% doctrine, or there is no god and it's all made up in the human mind. Let's skip the second part and just get into some of the awesome laws we MUST OBEY OR SPEND ETERNITY IN A PIT OF FIRE. If your wife gets raped, kill her with a brick for not yelling loud enough. Deuteronomy 22:24 Sell your daughter into slavery for cash, but if she doesn't put out, you have to buy her back. Full price, no discounts. Deuteronomy 21:7-8 No polyester blends. Ever. Leviticus 19:19 You must grow sideburns, a beard, and no tattoos. Probably a bricking for any man above 15 without sideburns. Leviticus 19:27-28 Break god's laws, and he will seriously fuck you up. (Worse than a bricking). Deuteronomy 29:19-20 - Comment on more comments on this submission (2009-11-14 19:47:23)

I never understood the desire to pay $5 for something I can make myself for $2... if, y'know, I wanted to make an incredibly crap sandwich. Put that $5 towards some good ingredients, and have yourself a real sandwich. - Comment on purple haired jolie (2009-11-11 23:06:53)

Bloody beef is only good on a burger you ground yourself. Otherwise, it's probably crap meat and not safe to eat bloody. Also, that's one ugly burger. For breakfast, though? Do you have no patience? - Comment on Zombie Survival Sheet (2009-11-01 19:34:19)
@BowToMe (since reply seems to be on the fritz) Same here. I had to go rewatch that episode after posting that link. Looking forward to the prog rock episode tonight. - Comment on Zombie Survival Sheet (2009-11-01 13:17:36)

That's some good hand writing. And also more proof it's just as much women as men who give women body image issues. - Comment on Blacksad (2009-10-31 13:17:17)
