What you said can't really be interpreted as sarcasm (hence no one getting that it was sarcasm), it looks more like you're correcting DasMaus because you misunderstood what he was saying. You could just be civil about this and either admit you were wrong, not say anything, or just tell me in an affable way that your original intentions were sarcastic. Your failure to communicate in no way makes me a dipshit, and your very defensive, ad hominem attack does nothing but make your argument look weak and wrong. Now, let's move on.

dhg4983 and Cargen, You two aren't understanding DasMau, it says in the first sentence of that article "French rescuers say" therefore, it's the French who had the guts to say it (dhg), and it's not the reporter who DasMaus is talking about when he said "I love that these guys had the balls to call it like it is" (Cargen). The language of the newspaper and the gender of the reporter are irrelevant, as the people calling the climbers idiots were the French rescuers, specifically rescue chief Stephane Bozon.
