Most people have better stuff to do than to argue about which fucking operating system is the best, and either buy windows cos it's familiar to their office job or whatever, or buy mac because it's kinda cool and shiny and is the industry standard for illustration, advertising and media work. Lest we forget, computers are not fucking cycles or motorcycles. The problem with PC users is they can't shut the fuck up about compability or a bigger market share or customisation or BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH FUCKING BLAH. People who can "appreciate the power and customization of PCs" have way too much fucking time on their hands. I like mac because it WORKS. It works WELL. It's INTUITIVE. I don't have to figure out obscure command structures or a wonky interface. It has a far superior GUI. I don't care that I can't upgrade the graphics card or whatever or do such and such to make it run faster. It just doesn't matter to me, and doesn't matter to anyone else who isn't a hopeless shut in. And another thing - People don't buy macs to "conform" to fashion, they buy macs because they like macs and the brand image. It's a subtle distinction but an important one. Warped arguement from the start. And yes, I am aware of the hypocrisy
