I honestly don't see what the problem is. What he wants to do to himself is his call, and he's achieved something nearly completely unique. For the record, I've found that plenty of women find men with gauged facial piercings attractive because of the self confidence it requires and entails.

I honestly don't see why everyone is hating on this guy simply for a decision he's made about his appearance. He did it for himself, not for you lot too laugh at. Flawed argument by pretty much every user here. And as for people having a limit to being open minded, well, it doesn't affect them in any way shape or form, so I fail to see how that limit could be reached.

@AlecDalek The coals are frequently broken up to expose the hot inner cores of the ash. There's no "big rocks" to walk on - None more than an inch across. It doesn't actually hurt because the specific heat capacity of human flesh on the toughened sole of the foot and the low heat conductivity of wood coals means hot coals can be walked on briskly without pain. Also, as for "just as lame", I'd like to see you walk on hot coals, MF.
