I did, forgot to get the super mutie companion...so I just burned through 20 bags of rad-away. And unless you have the Australian version...during the Waters of Life end scene you see him inject himself with what is assumed to be... ... ...Radaway...Yeah, I looked it up...and that is the consensus. Besides...that's exactly what happens to you after you go in there yourself...people drag you out, dose you up with some radaway and then ask you to go blow up a space shuttle launch crawler the Enclave turned into a land-gunship.

Why? They are genetically engineered psychic supersoldiers. Anything they want to work... ... ...just works. Their Mekboyz see a giant robot suit and go "me can do dat better...and red!" and they just do it. doesn't matter if the wiring or gears aren't really connected to anything...Mekboy says it's good...any Boy hops in and it is indeed good.

@nobody-knows Weird-ass parallel universe nukes...the things pump out rads like nobody's business...but destructive power? pfft. "The Glow" was bombarded with direct hits from the entire payload of one of China's nuclear submarines... ... ...only punched a hole in the roof and knocked out a roughly 30ft diameter sphere inside. Desks and right on the edge of the damage didn't even budge. But you need to eat rad-x like tic-tacs just to walk in there. @npbnjvsxynpsff but they can wash away 99%...and Autumn likely did have rad-x on him and was taking it constantly...Enclave makes a real big deal about radiation and mutation. (Even though they did have a super-mutant on staff...they called him a "experiment" and "enhanced soldier" to save face) That's why all of their armors have superior radiation resistance to even the basic haz-mat suits.

Fallout universes nukes are surprisingly low yield...the largest bombs had a "killzone" of just a few yards (which is why the Chinese peppered the country with millions of them). Also they have Rad-Away and Rad-X...magical future-tech medicine that can remove radiation poisoning instantly or prevent it altogether.
