See what happens when the locals allow illegal immigrants to enter the country at will? The immigrants will invariably act like an invasive species and wipe the locals off the map.
  • Comment on athiests in foxholes (2011-05-07 18:06:27)
Let's turn that around: does the fact that Muslim extremist are willing to kill themselves in suicide bombings prove that they truly believe in tenets of their religion? Actually, no. You'd think that they are willing to die because they truly believe that dying as a result of a battle against "infidels" will result in countless rewards in heaven. But, isn't the primary motivation for terrorism to avenge the deaths caused by the "evil Zionist Americans and their Israeli masters"? And wouldn't those killed by the evil Americans and Jews count for the "countless rewards in heaven" as much as the suicide bombers would? So, according to this theory, suicide bombers are people who are willing to kill themselves so they can get the rewards in heaven and get even with the evil infidels who sent their friends and family to heaven. But if they truly believed in a heaven, why would the get so angry at the guys who keep sending their friends and family there? And just like the suicide bombers, soldiers don't willingly get into foxholes because they believe a heaven awaits for them when they die; they do it because they are angry enough at the guys in the opposite foxhole that they are willing to die so long as they can take a couple of their enemies with them.
  • Comment on i love cats (2011-05-04 18:50:45)
The creator of that image was clearly confusing cats with dogs. Dogs are the ones that, if you pet them a couple of times and scratch their belly once, will be willing to fight an angry grizzly bear to protect you. Cats are the ones you can treat like furry gods for ten years and when the grizzly bear comes, they'll climb a tree, calmly watch the bear kill and eat you, then feast on the leftovers.
  • Comment on how much she truely means to me (2011-05-01 06:08:05)
Clearly, she was TEARING HIM APART! Oh, hi MCS. (And it's "truly", not "truely".)
  • Comment on you must be this color to enter this country (2011-05-01 05:23:25)
This is so far beyond retarded it goes all the way around and becomes cleverly satirical, then keeps going and becomes retarded once more. What part of "immigration laws are there for a goddamn reason and every country in the goddamn planet will demand you show proof you're legally entitled to enter it before allowing you to do so" do you fail to understand, eh?
  • Comment on walken with giant mole thing (2011-04-30 00:51:40)
That's one of "The Country Bears", not a giant mole thing.
  • Comment on Obama's Birth Certificate (2011-04-28 19:39:52)
Of course, the only people who could possibly dislike Obama are racists. Just like the only people who dislike Sarah Palin and Hillary Clinton are sexists. Just like the only people who dislike Rachel Maddow are homophobes. Just like the only people who dislike Qaddafi and Ahmadinejad are Islamophobes. Just like the only people who dislike Glenn Beck are retardphobes. By the way, I'm latino, so if you disagree with me on anything I've ever said, it's obviously because you're a racist.
  • Comment on White House Releases Obama's Birth Certificate (2011-04-27 21:52:09)
So what have we learned here: The mother was 17 when she became pregnant. Which wasn't statutory rape (it's 16 for Hawaii). Her first name is Stanley and had no occupation at the time (not unusual for a woman in the '60s). "African" is a race. You need to specify in which part of Africa lies Kenya, presumably so people would not confuse it with any other Kenya. The father's side of the form includes "kind of busyness or industry", but the mother's side doesn't. The '60s were funny that way. It is important to know if a residence is a farm or a plantation. The local register in Hawaii signs like a 6-years-old child.
  • Comment on Stuff We Don't Need (2011-04-27 21:31:34)
So people are spending more money on the stuff that makes life worth living instead of the stuff that merely keeps you alive. Why exactly is that a bad thing?
  • Comment on star wars vs disney (2011-04-05 01:14:53)
Even this didn't do as much to tarnish Darth Vader's tough-guy image as spending the better part of three prequels calling him "Annie." And who is Donald Duck, anyway? Han? Chewie? Or C3PO?
  • Comment on There is a fucking OWL in the car! (2011-04-02 15:54:26)
"why is there a fucking owl in the car?" What? Where you expecting it to ride a motorcycle? Do you know how unsafe those things are?
  • Comment on a book commits suicide (2011-03-31 16:10:31)
Criticize all you want, but without Jersey Shore, how are psychologists supposed to study the behavior of the mentally impaired without being accused of unethical experimentation on humans?
  • Comment on Noam (2011-03-22 11:24:11)
And as always, a an idiot's idea of "question everything" means to only question "everything" for which you don't like the answers you got from someone you dislike. I'm not talking about his atheism, I'm talking about the fact that he's a open supporter of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, aka, one of the three people in the world (along with Fidel Castro and Daniel Ortega) who have openly supported, from the very beginning, Qaddafi's efforts to kill all Libyans asking for democracy, something that even Ahmadinejad didn't dare to do. (Sarcasm) I'm sure Noam is questioning his support for Chavez right about now...
  • Comment on Snow & Global Warming (2011-03-21 14:32:24)
"Is that true? Why isn't anyone talking about this?" "Because it takes more than 140 characters to explain." Obviously, the author misspelled "Because it's utterly retarded and easily refuted" in that last speech bubble. First, "warmer air holds more water than cold air." That's true, but both meaningless and counterproductive for the argument. The claim here is that "warmer air", defined as air that is currently warmer than is was 100 years ago, holds more water. That would be meaningful if the difference in temperature were 10 or 20 degrees Celsius, not the 1degree they claim for global warming. But more importantly, like all global warming nutcases, they forget the difference between atmospheric temperature and ground temperature. Anything that affects atmospheric temperature will have the opposite effect on ground temperature because the primary source of heat is sunlight, and anything that absorbs sunlight in the atmosphere will prevent it from reaching the ground. That's why cloudy days are so much colder than cloudless days (temperature at cloud level is higher, but lower at ground level). That's why winter exists (Earth's tilt causes sunlight to travel through a larger amount of atmosphere, thus causing it to lose most of its energy by the time it reaches the ground). Anything that increases the moisture in the air will actively cause a cooling on the ground below it because water is really fucking good at absorbing sunlight (again, see clouds), and more than capable of offsetting the hell out of any "greenhouse effect" you might want to invent. You just can't have an increase in atmospheric moisture and an increase in ground temperature (aka, global warming). Reality doesn't work that way.

According to wikipedia, "Vi veri veniversum vivus vici" means "By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe." In case of that girl, I'd have to see some cleavage before I agree that she has conquered anything.
