So I took a quick look on my good buddy Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_lowest-income_counties_in_the_United_States I looked at the top ten most poor counties and eight of them are basically Native reservations. Now I am no expert but I am fairly sure that the Natives have been having a hard time for a very long time. I bet you could dig into the history of each county and see a combination of forces economically, politically and socially that have brought them to this place, and who knows some of them or all of them might be on the upswing. None of these things of course factor into this picture which is just a dig at Republicans to set off a cascade of "You suck! No, You suck!" dialogue.
  • Comment on business vs violence (2014-09-27 23:54:02)
If violence is your only answer you probably aren't that bright, also no business is obligated to provide you with your desired wage or provide products within your price range. With all that being said though its probably better for society that we take care of our underclass.
  • Comment on Swiss Guns (2014-08-27 22:51:38)
Homicide Rate: (not specific to firearms): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_intentional_homicide_rate Number of firearms per capita: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number_of_guns_per_capita_by_country Violent Crime on its way down: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_in_the_United_States Everyone can make their judgements based on this data (or dismiss the data all together). I believe it shows that countries like Switzerland and Finland have a high density of firearms without having a high homicide rate. America's problem probably has more to do with the treatment of mental health issues, race demographics, poverty, law enforcement and partisan politics at all levels. If there is any doubt as to my standpoint (for making decisions on whether to up or down vote me) I am against regulation of firearms other than to keep them out of the hands of criminals, and those with mental health issues.

This could also be used to explain most arguments on YouTube.

  • Comment on denim vs. suits (2013-10-20 00:22:18)
The men in denim voted for the men in suits, we are all to blame for our respective situations.

I feel bad for people who come home to cats.
  • Comment on Babies and Gender roles (2013-08-07 01:15:25)
I am guessing you do not want to be that somebody. It seems you are correct I used gender and sex interchangeably, I wonder how often that happens, I wonder if finding offence to that is justified. But regardless like I said before I have no problems with the way anyone feels the need to express their identity.
  • Comment on Babies and Gender roles (2013-08-06 16:59:24)
Nature decided what gender you are, and you cannot change that, it is built into the basic building blocks of life. How you choose to express yourself is your business and I couldn't care less how you do it but don't fool yourself into thinking you have overcome nature.

I think someone is going to start getting invoices for room and board. /The above comment reveals how old I am.
  • Comment on gay kids (2013-07-28 19:15:04)
Where is your pride parade? Well if you want one then that all begins with you, it only takes one person to start a movement. If people believe in your cause they will follow, if they don't then maybe they need to be educated but as cliché as it sounds you have to be the change you are looking for. As a white heterosexual male I personally think your comment is far to fatalistic. We are a species in our infancy and we are going to make mistakes and continue to grow, there is very little that we do that sets us on a road we cant turn back from. Now with all that being said this picture is the sexualization of children linked to an idea they couldn't possibly understand and I am absolutely against it in any form for any cause.

That guy was born looking like that, and will still look like that long after I die. Earl grey tea, that is the secret to immortality.

  • Comment on How's that gun control working out Canada? (2013-03-29 18:23:02)
Ralph the troll maybe? It is pretty easy to get your Firearms Licence in Canada and get yourself a pistol or an AR-15 if that is what you fancy.
  • Comment on With all the gun crazy shit going on, tell me your gun experiences (2013-03-21 23:12:09)
10 Years in the Military and my Firearm just became another piece of kit that could never be clean enough for inspection. Now that I am long out of the forces I am saving up for a Sig P229. I notice that a lot of people posted their experiences with firearms here without any political commentary and still got down voted. Seems silly to downvote someones experiences in this case...
