Sorta already are. They are killing a plan to have their main campus in FL. They have told employees that have relocated in preparation that it is ok to relocate again (a huge chain jerk IMHO even if being 100 % reimbursed by Disney). The 1.1 Billion invested was from just Disney; the 13,000 tax-paying employees gone, and additional tourist revenue gone. The details have changed, but the original elimination of the Reedy Creek district would have forced the bond debt that used to be Disney's to be held and paid by the local counties for around another Billion, forcing the need to raise local property taxes to pay down the bond.

It was never about religion, it was about naked power, dominion. They are in power because they are gawd's chosen; they are gawd's chosen because they are in power. Why else would they empower some one that is the antithesis of the teachings of christ? - Comment on I don’t believe in coincidence (2023-05-16 21:02:56)

Bernie looks like a "left wing radical", because the ultra right keeps pushing the Overton window. Anything left of Maga gets called "radical left. In any first world nation, Bernie would be center right. - Comment on Celebrate 25 years with an iMac Graveyard (2023-05-10 19:33:04)

For a guy that had trouble paying rent as late as 2017, I'm curious where he found the funds to "lend" his campaign $700k, and a net worth of "$11 million". I'm really hoping that gets leaked out during the trial. The plural line items of $199.99 for his campaign finances scream blatant fabrications. - Comment on Anti-‘Grooming’ Republican Resigns After Alleged Sexual Relationship With Teen (2023-05-09 22:49:33)
"Every accusations is a confession" One of the defining characteristics of a Sociopath, is their absolute lack of the power of empathy; they are incapable of seeing things from another's perspective. Because they can only see through their own eyes, anything that a person of power "could" be doing, is exactly what they would do in that position, regardless of actuality. Because they would do it, given the chance, their enemies are "certainly" doing it. So in this case, any accusation by a Sociopath, is a confession of want, or worse, a justification of current behavior. If they imply (by fabricating whole cloth) others are doing grievous sexual behavior, it is because they have first hand knowledge. So: a politician and his Poolboy (Fallwell), or stomping their foot for hook up sex (Senator Craig), or naming your child after the frothy after birth of anal sex (Senator Santorum), or sexting a staffer (Rep Foley), or patronizing a gay bordello (Senator David I. Walsh), or underage gay sex (Rep. Gerry Studds), or calling 1-900 gay sex phone lines (Rep. Ed Schrock), or sexually harassing a male staffer (Eric Massa). Their hypocrisy helps define the position of some politicians - Comment on The title “Supreme Commander of Allied Forces, Europe” more of a subtle flex (2023-05-07 22:46:37)

My Navy Meritorious Unit Commendation, Battle "E", Good Conduct, and my National Defense Service ribbon kinda sorta support this theory. (Only 5 ribbons over six years). My SSBN Deterrent Patrol was for mostly showing up (you know being trapped in the bowels of a metal tube). However, my Dolphins, I feel like I earned that; Enough that I volunteered to take care of DC gear (to the point that I got injured taking care of said gear, but that's a story for another day). - Comment on Punished for saving a cat (2023-05-06 18:23:44)
