Sesame Street is extremely profitable. The Merchandising alone could probably fund PBS, Forget the movies (the Muppets were launched around Kermit, who started on Sesame St) or the theme parks. There was a thing a while back about why the Jim Henson Company doesn't profit share with the the network. I don't know how/if it was ever resolved. PBS would go under without government funding, Sesame St would just move someplace else. Since Disney owns Jim Henson now, my guess is either ABC or the Disney Channel. If it's ABC, I can see some great marketing to promote the move.

The fact that Joker hasn't run into someone (a cop or a judge who doesn't buy the insanity plea and is pro-death penalty) is what makes DC harder to believe sometimes. Most people are bitter over their not being a Santa Claus. They wouldn't be if they weren't lied to about it from an early age.
