I used to think that'd be awesome. Basically getting paid to live every boyhood dream of growing up to be a radioactive, fire-breathing, BAMF smashing everything from model cities to rows of mini armies. Even thought the nickname "Godzilla" might be bestowed on whoever had the honor to wear it. Then reality and adulthood set in and it dawns on you that it's probably just some guy making a lousy amount of money in a stifling rubber suit stomping his feet, flailing his arms, and occasionally beating on other guys in stifling rubber suits all day. A glorified mascot. Fuck I hate growing up sometimes.

I've yet to see the new one. I didn't care very much for the others, they were very 'meh' to me, but The Fifth Element and Dummy make up for them.

Option 1: -Find cat -Run it over -Back over it just to make sure -Take picture of dead cat and send to heartbroken woman -Hope no one knows you did it so you're not fined or worse; sent to spend time touring a lovely correctional facility for animal cruelty while pondering "Was it worth it?" in your head every night Julio decides to marinate your ass the old fashion way. Option 2: -Find cat -Swallow arbitrary hate for a harmless animal -Proceed to call number on missing note -Collect $300 Now, really, the answer to this should be very easy, but take as much time as you need.

The thing is, few people who champion it actually read it so it takes on a new life of implied and assumptive meaning to different people along with the implied duties and responsibilities of protecting said document. Also, I'm never one to hide my disdain of Bush, but he's hardly alone in the whole "eroding civil liberties" department.

I love the deliciously palpable irony in the fact that same argument is used by so many who describe themselves as constitutionalists or people who follow it word for word. The same people who whine and bitch that democracy is being sabotaged when the judicial branch actually does one of the jobs it's meant to do when it keeps from becoming law the opinion of a supposed majority concerning minority rights. Something that should never have been and never should be up for a public referendum in the first place.
