@ Disgustipater That shadow effect on Spock's face is created by 'stirring' an area on the screen...basically you just turn both knobs at the same time, really fast, which makes a mess in one spot.

@ Numb7rs It's a long exposure shot, but not a very LONG long exposure shot. The weapon in question is a 7.62mm GAU17 minigun. Now the scary part: Between each tracer you can see, there are four non-tracers you can't see. Wall of armor-piercing death? Yes.

tailspin really did suck, though. Darkwing Duck was awesome and I liked the whole dark/moody theme the first few episodes had going on. fortunately Disney revived that particular feel when they did gargoyles, which was the best cartoon on DA, imo..
