For most of USS Tarawa's 05-06 deployment I was the gun mount captain of a gun mount located right under spot 7 and a half, which is where harriers (among other things) landed. These fuckers are LOUD.

I really don't understand why people this this director is any good. He has yet to make a movie that I would recommend to anybody. Remember that scene in The Village where the 'tard stabbed that dude to death? Yeah. Laughed my ass off...then restarted that scene so I could watch and laugh again. As I've said to many people many times before, I could take a shit in the palm of my hand while filming the event with a disposable camera and make a stop-motion movie better than anything Shyalalaladingdong has ever filmed.

This would have worked better if they had sawn the chessboard in half to properly give the illusion of an 8x8 board, as opposed to the 8x16 board that results from putting a normal chess set against a mirror.

I am going to assume, based on magazine width, that the mag is single-stack. At .75 caliber (for the uninitiated, caliber = diameter of the round as measured in 100ths of an inch), that magazine has to be almost two feet long. Good job, Games Workshop >.>

Actually, there ARE US units that carry AKs for a number of reasons...availability of ammunition (scavenged from the enemy), close in firepower (if using 'shorty' AKs), and so on. However, the helos DO look a bit off, and none of them have US ARMY or anything similar stenciled on the side. My guess is south american ally or else a fictional enemy force used in a training excercise.

There was a LOT of Eurotrash working there, at least at the malls, when I was in Dubai in late '05. Lots of HAWT Eurotrash. The whores that I ran into (but didn't hire; you're about to see why) were from... drumroll please... ...Somalia (!?) Go figure, eh? Aside from that, and the fact that it's located in the middle east, Dubai was pretty nice. They're big on visual aesthetics over there.

Fun movie - very fast paced, cool action scenes, and nothing boring at all. Bad INDIANA JONES movie - little plot development, badguys who aren't Nazis, subplot with Indy being a double agent AND AN ARMY COLONEL (wut?), horrible fake russian accents, fucking outer space (sorry, BETWEEN SPACE) aliens, characters who are introduced as if we're supposed to know who the fuck they are when we don't (except Marian or whatever her name is). :\ again, fun movie, but easily the worst indy jones movie.
