  • Comment on Contrary To Popular Opinion, These Do Not Make Me A KIller (2008-11-11 18:09:05)
I have a little meter I wear around my neck that I use to display my current faith in humanity (I don't, but I want one.) Whenever someone goes on about how videogames make people into killers, it drops like a rock. People are really that stupid. Everyone who has ever killed someone has ingested water in the past 48 hours. WATER is the cause of murder. Wake up, sheeple. My point here being that because this one psycho kid got picked on all his life finally went and and brought a shotgun to school and got some revenge also happened to play Doom, it doesn't have to be Doom that made him a killer. That's the Christian Right and their fears of technology and of violence when it's not in the name of God. Fuck the world. @Bright Green There are shooters on the wii? (I bought one for Brawl, and have found a few good games for it, but there need to be more shooters. We have a few resident evil games which I should try, and Call of Duty, which I hate. Am I missing any, or do I have to wait on Timesplitters 4?)

I have to disagree with the popular opinion that Enterprise sucked. It was mediocre for too seasons (reminiscent of the less worthwhile bits of TNG, but with worse acting) but it got really good right before the end. The acting on the show was really fine by Star Trek standards, although the captain was TERRIBLE, and the writing was more-or-less on par with the other series. I'm really wishing they'd do a series of Enterprise' Temporal Cold War from the 'Future' side of it.

I love this pamphlet, but it's a waste of time. The people who it is directed at, Christians (and particularly fundamentalists) are far too stupid to understand logic, and most are too stupid to read. HATE Christians.

Love these people. @dieAntagonista Yes, there are, but there is a real art to minfucking. Anybody can screw somebody up, but people who can do it with this much class and creativity are a rare thing indeed.

And somehow they make history classes boring as hell. How do they do it?

Geek. Total pure geek. (I'm crazy enough that people love me, if only because I keep them entertained) Thanks for clearing this up. I always wondered, although this more or less confirmed my previous hypothesis, which is that a geek is a nerd with friends.

Unfortunately, this happens to me, although I'm only a hobbyist. Everybody wants fucking tech support. Cretins.

This is 60% win right now. If they'd matched all of the element abbreviations properly it would be 100%.

Honestly, I think this is pretty neat. Statue repetition is fine by me.

It's melting my mind... I love it. The fourth dimension thing is cool too.
