So I read frozen_fire and natedog's posts, and what I read them as saying is: god has to fill his holy quota of human deaths, tragedies and 'evils' before he'll step in and queen-wave at us, because otherwise we won't believe that he's all-powerful and loves us and is fit to rule the universe? ...wha? frozen_fire, you're still not quite there. The definition of omnipotent is 'having unlimited power'. Meaning that his power has no limits. So really, if he is that powerful - yes, he could definitely break a pencil without a breaking a pencil. If there are no limits placed on your power to break pencils, then why the hell not?

Bah! Morals, schmorals. Everything is relative, and the things that you find 'wrong' or immoral may be considered completely normal somewhere else in the world. It doesn't make them wrong and you right, or vice versa. I apologise Mr Dooves, but I can't take much that you say seriously anymore after your "small body size = sexy and healthy, and larger body size = unhealthy and repulsive" argument a while back. Oh, sorry - you're a yoga instructor, so you must be our resident authority on health and bodies and flexibility and everything else that you profess to have any knowledge in at all. Silly me. Then again, if you just pop up here and there to argue with people and generate 'debate', then go for it, and many thanks! Just try not to have 3 times as many comments as everybody else next time, it gets a bit boring.

Religion aside (if that's even possible) - Abstinence-only sex ed is just ridiculous. It doesn't work, plain and simple. It means that in sex education class, they don't get the full picture, they don't get information on birth control like the pill, condoms, etc, they don't really get any or all of the info on STD's, abortion, etc. The kids are just sat down in a classroom and told "this is sex. don't do it. at all." Just telling a teenager to not do something "because we said so", and expecting them to listen to you is just fucking retarded. They're teenagers, and we're talking about sex - they'll go and do it anyway. Abstinence-only sex ed just means that when they go do it, they aren't equipped with the information or 'protection' to do it safely, or to know what the fuck to do when it goes wrong. It just leads to more underaged parents and as a result possibly neglected and unwanted children, and kids with STDs or AIDS, or teenaged girls needing abortions (that they're conservative parents probably won't allow them to have). Completely. Fucking. Retarded. /end rant
