Wow. Riverdaledragon has to be one of the most retarded, uneducated people I've ever seen post on here. Just to clarify, I'm not saying that all people that believe in god only do so because they're scared. It's just that those people frustrate me more than any others, and it's just pointless. Going to church every week does not automatically make you a good person.

Er... i'm going to assume that natedog didn't read any of the above posts, and missed the part where atheism is not a religion. Random angry jabbering. Fail. I don't know if there is a god or not, but I don't want to waste my time going to churches and dishing out money, or trying to restrict other people's freedoms 'just in case' or because it's the socially acceptable thing to do. Although, in Australia, being an atheist or agnostic, etc is not something that's really frowned upon. I think the majority of people here either don't believe, or don't care either way. God (if there is one) is not the problem, the way people use religion to control and persecute each other is the problem. Besides, if there is a god then surely he appreciates the enquiring and honest person who searches for real truth, rather than preferring people who 'believe' out of fear?
