Dreamchild/Alice In Wonderland

A few days ago it was the 150th anniversary of the publication of Alice In Wonderland, so here’s a celebration.

Good compilation of clips from the wonderful and sadly little seen film, Dreamchild. (deduct points for terrible song) Directed by Gavin Miller. Screenplay – Dennis Potter. SFX – Jim Henson’s Creature Workshop (and they’re marvelously grotesque creations!).

Alice Is Still In Wonderland – great, little radio doc on the lasting legacy of the book introduced by none other than Siouxsie Sioux, with contributions by Jonathan Miller and Tim Burton.
