Glow Season 2 review

Camera crews, network meetings, rabid fans: It’s all happening. But to stay on the air, the ladies of GLOW will have to fight like never before.

Season one was a fun ride, and season two road that high and added it’s own flourishes. The brief amount of nudity in this season was weird and out of place, but that negative is more like a positive that I just felt weird about.  If you have the time, the season is short and to the point with little that I could say was meandering or could have been edited.

Death Squared game review

This was a fun video game that I sorta really enjoyed to hate while really enjoying it. The puzzles were just annoying enough that I was getting frustrated with them, but easy enough that if I just stopped playing for a couple minutes and came back to it, I could figure it out. My worst one by far too me about 20 minutes because I could not for the life of me figure out what was triggering an explosion.

Haven’t tried the party games out, still trying to convince my wife, may report back if that ever happens.

Composer Jesse Harlin wrote the music for Yoku’s Island Express from Villa Gorilla, and WOW this soundtrack is good. In a way, I don’t want to spoil it, because we talk about nearly every single track Jesse put on the album.

It’s safe to say I have several favorite tracks, in part because the music goes through so many different styles. There’s trip hop tracks, music flavored with the sounds of Hawaii and Polynesia, Tuvan throat singing, sitar, Renaissance music, and a spot on tribute to Pink Floyd’s lead guitarist, David Gilmour (one of my personal favorite musicians).
