Tilting at Windmills #270 Pondering Whether to Close A Comic Shop

IronManComixOutpost 500x333 Tilting at Windmills #270: Pondering Whether to Close A Comic Shop

A periodical-based comics shop in SF is in jeopardy of closing.

Absolutely fantastic opinion piece about the future of the comic books industry. Specifically he mentions Spider-Geddon which looks like it could be a really cool miniseries, but when I was doing my Previews order I couldn’t make heads or tails of how many issues were going to be involved and what exactly I would be getting into or what I needed to read to even know what was going on.  Much like Brian, I have no faith that Marvel Comics will have a series with a distinct start, middle, and end, and don’t want to get roped into a mini series with 8 different tie in series and 30 different variant covers, none of which actually look very good.
