Comic Review for week of January 30 2019
These comics remind me a lot of comics from the 70’s and 80s, for all the right reasons, including that glorious price.
Still no delivery from Diamond for this issue.
This is the final issue in a series that I never felt found its feet but none the less had fantastic ideas and art. 
This entire mini series has been peppered with amazing art, a poor story, and art that’s repeated 9 times on a single page. 
I think this is only my second issue of this series, so I’m pretty lost.
Final issue of the first story arc and wow this is great comic book horror. I look forward to the next arc in a couple months.
No idea, but it wasn’t terrible.
50 pages for $18, not worth it at all. I regret buying this an urge you to not waste your money. The cover for this comic was thicker than the pages were!
I didn’t realize this was a mini series, but this was the last issue of it. It felt rushed and left all sorts of plot threads just hanging around out there, so I’m sure there will be a sequel. 
It’s just a preview of stuff that’s coming up. I’m going to stop getting these because they’re nearly pointless at this point in time. 
Frustratingly enough, the story that interested me was how Lois Lane fell in love with Darkseid. Guess what story wasn’t in here? There’s a couple others that by far make up for the insult of advertising an interesting story on the cover and not even mentioning it inside.
I’m done with these adaptations, they’re just so lifeless and pointless.
I’m not a fan of what’s going on here. The concept at it’s root is pretty cool, but it just feels so contrived that I nearly broke an eyeball whilst rolling it every other page.

Doctor Aphra’s adventures with the burder bot continue.
Frank is still imprisoned in a soon to be new country and I have to say I’m really interested in seeing how they’re going to resolve this. My money is that everyone gets away and there are no major deaths. Major props to Marvel for referencing content from the original Punisher run though!
One of the most gimmicky things comics has ever done is the 3d glasses art style, and like a sucker, I went and bought this one for way too much money. The effect is nearly ruined by the red part of the glasses being too dark, and none of the character’s personalities are recognizable to their modern versions, but it was still a fun read, and a reminder that I should stop buying into gimmick books just to say I experienced the stupid gimmick.Kaley Cuoco when she was 31
