The Men in Black have always protected the Earth from the scum of the universe. In this new adventure, they tackle their biggest threat to date: a mole in the Men in Black organization.

A film that fell victim to a poor marketing strategy and a storyline that just didn’t really have much heft to it. There’s the obvious story of “someone is a mole in the MIB” but other than that, there isn’t much to see here that’s of interest.

An example of too much CGI too, if you can pull a planet killer gun from your front pocket, things have gotten way out of scale with what’s believable.

I’ve been wanting to watch this since it came out last year, if only because of the costumes and colors. Both of those items really delivered, with the main lead’s dress in the third act really doing it for me, I absolutely loved the costumes and vibrancy. The story is much too close to Narnia for my tastes, and there’s some well choreographed twisted along the way, but I can’t necessarily say anything negative about the plot, just that it wasn’t bad.
