CVW-8 fast jets

I didn’t only change the colour scheme on my Tomcat; earlier this year also changed my Vigilante. On closer inspection of a number of photographs of the real aircraft, I found that the radome on the jets aboard USS Nimitz in 1978 wasn’t white, like it was on my model. Instead it had a slight tan tint, which was fairly typical for the material used on other aircraft as well. So, I rebuilt the nose.

Oh you’ve seen this movie before, just not with Lou Ferrigno, and likely done better. Lou was likely the best thing about the film, which was oddly placed in the UK and earned it’s B rating.

You would think with a name like “newt’s tale” you’d see more of Newt than anyone else, but this is just a straight up adaption of the movie, and not a very good one. The art is pretty rough, the story is rushed, and there’s not a whole lot that I can say about it that’s very positive.

It’s a two book series that I regret spending $10 total on, this s more like a $2 story.
