A well done origin story for a little known and seldom mentioned character named “Superman”. I’m told that this is yet another re-start of the animated universe for DC, so even the stuff that DC was doing right is now getting overwritten.

Check it out if you’re excited to learn about Superman’s formative years in Metropolis in an alternative timeline that won’t matter in a few years when they reboot the entire universe yet again.

Unfortunately the mission goes wrong and the team are stranded, forced to survive against the local rebels.

Bad CGI aside, this was a perfectly mediocre film that used nearly every badass lady trope that I know. Megan Fox was able to do it somewhat convincingly, at least she was more real than the lions in the film.
