A nice typical 80’s comedy that makes nearly no sense but it was great to see Sigourney Weaver in a weirdly funny role.

Created by Josh Friedman, Graeme Manson. With Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Mickey Sumner, Alison Wright. Seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, the remnants of humanity inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe, where class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out.

Based on the same comic book series that the 2013 movie was based on, this television series has all the same basic story points, but goes in completely different directions, with the divergence starting at the end of episode one. It’s a good story, with fantastic special effects, and an excellent but nonsensical world for the characters to thrive in.

I do have some questions about that world they find them in and was constantly frustrated by the focus on the internal politics of the passengers instead of fighting the freeze outside of the train. I can only hope that season two will bring more PVE instead of PVP story elements.
