I already owned the blue ray, but though that since I enjoyed the 90s batfilms so much in UHD, surely Batman Begins in 4k would be amazing too, right?
meh. visually it’s just ‘ok’. The story is still fantastic and I love nearly everything about it. Makes me with that Nolan would get back to making normal movies like this instead of his high concept weirdo movies that he’s been doing lately.

I watched this back when it originally aired, remembered liking it, and am still desperately trying to utilize my HBO Max subscription, so I watched it again.

This is about as much wish fulfillment as it is a Mary Sue pipe dream that makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable with what they might be saying here. I can only imagine how weird it would have been to have seen this film when it came out just a decade or so after the end of the war itself.
