    Diary of the Dead

Diary of the Dead: Directed by George A. Romero. With Todd Schroeder, Laura de Carteret, Amy Lalonde, Martin Roach. A group of young film students run into real-life zombies while filming a horror movie of their own.

A huge step down from the prior movie, everything is too well lit, the script is too unpolished, and the money spread way too thin. It also shows it’s age with some references to myspace, which is still a thing, but it’s not the thing that they reference in the movie. There’s some fun parts, like the Amish guy with the sickle, but those moments don’t make up for the rest of the film.

I watched this on Freevee which has some of the most timely advertisements of all the streaming services, and now it’s on my roku to be used, but there’s a super weird cross over of what’s on Amazon Prime and what’s on Freevee.
