A cute mini series that’s about 2 hours long total, I hope Disney does more of these types of short form stories with heart!

“Rebel Ridge” Review

An ex-Marine grapples his way through a web of small-town corruption when an attempt to post bail for his cousin escalates into a violent standoff with the local police chief.

We’ve seen this type of story a thousand times before and the only real question is if this is a good version of it. It is! There’s never a single moment that I doubted the movie was serious or had needlessly bad CGI. Never once did I get the feeling the characters were doing dumb things just because they were big ol’ dummies doing dumb stuff. In fact, there was a point in the 3rd act where I straight up understood the motivations of the bad guys and low key sort of agreed that they were doing the best they could.
