I haven’t a clue why I watched this with, but boy howdy was it a good time. There’s some real stupidity going on with the limits of what this new horror icon can get up to, but Lauren LaVera more than makes up for anything that I could complain about. The camp is obvious, and the camp is relished, I think this is the first time that I was actually looking forward to what the bad guy was going to do during a slasher film. Normally it’d be obvious: slashing! But in Terrifier 2, this clown is more of a demonic mime with high hopes for a peaceful future.
