It’s been a very long while since I checked back in on the Buffy verse, this mini series was a $1 bin steal a couple weeks ago. It’s set during the story continuation that they did after the show was canceled and well before they rebooted absolutely everything a couple years ago. I don’t know if I ever wrote about that, but the entire thing felt off and I didn’t really dig it. This mini series though? I dig it completely! Willow was always one of the stronger supporting members of the Buffy show and it’s great to see that she continued to be a top tier power in the comics, even if she did seem to lose her powers somehow. It’s odd picking up a mini series with a story that’s just another part of a larger story and I’m not entirely sure I’m ever going to get around to reading the whole thing, it’s a lot to read, there were at least 5 different ongoing series that continued the story with 100+ issues among them!
