I used an Apple Lisa back when it was first released; it seems so archaic to those looking at it now but it really was revolutionary at the time, when one was used to the TRS-80 or IBM.

Great film; a lot of fun and amazing to watch. Most (if not all) of Keaton's works are on Netflix streaming at the moment. (Also seek out The Charlie Chaplin Collection, and specifically a film called "One A.M."; damn funny stuff.)

I have read elsewhere they may edit it back in; call it fan outcry, call it change of heart on the part of the director. Regardless, it'll be on the (released later) blu-ray collector's director's ultimate cut edition.

Love that movie. I listen to the soundtrack every once in a while. I think it's more because of the timeframe I saw it in (was a kid, parents hadn't divorced yet, everyone I ever knew was still alive). My younger sister had the "Can't Stop The Music" album. The Village People were huge back then. Huge. I remember watching the movie on HBO but that's it; I just remember we watched it. Have no idea what it was about. I do remember seeing their videos on HBO's Video Jukebox, a precursor to MTV (when MTV was Music TeleVision).

I will never forget seeing this premier night -- movie aside, we watched the sequence with the Batwing™ and the balloons, and as it flew up through the clouds, and stopped just in front of the moon to make this (the Bat Symbol™), the guy in front of me said, "oh, I'm so sure" -- as in, he could accept the entire rest of the film as plausible, but the Batwing™ pausing in front of the moon; that was ridiculous. Sorry for all the trademarks; kind of an in-joke from the time -- everything had the Bat logo on it around then, and on every one there was that big "TM" next to it. Got in the habit of typing a ™ after every use.

As I recall, this was from a "What If...?" issue from the late 70s/early 80s; as in "What if... Thor had been a Woman?" Speaking of, looks like there's a chance ComiXology might finally start selling the original What If run; got a copy last night: http://www.comixology.com/What-If-1977-1984/comics-series/14612 Thus far, only one issue (#4, "What If The Avengers had stayed together after WWII") has been released.

Hot Rod Show World aka World of Wheels. My dad would take me to these shows down at the Rivergate in New Orleans. I do miss the 70s sometimes.
