I get to say this because I have a PhD in comp sci and my research area is AI: ChatGPT is a bad parlor trick. It has no understanding. It just puts together strings it finds on the internet. That's not AI. It's not even a good librarian. I asked it for a famous quote from U. S. Grant and it replied, "War is hell." Yeah, W. T. Sherman said that, not Grant.
