@RSIxidor: Have you seen the achievements for the X-Box version? Kill every boss with P buster. Pass game without getting hit, etc... Impossible! I am actually glad they made 9 harder then the rest tho. As much as I loved all the games, until 9 the original was the only constantly challenging one, at least once you knew each bosses weakness. I've got 1-5 on NES, so hard to find them in PAL format. You yanks and other NTSC countries have it so easy!

The first series was fantastic, but the second series was disappointing at best. I'd say it's because first series they wrote the show around pre-existing songs, where second series they wrote everything at the same time. Just not the same. On a side note, if you get the chance to see them do stand up, do it! They are awesome live and you won't really get another chance to see them as they have confirmed they are going separate ways soon.
