Didn't they discover during the Kosovo crisis that cell phone signals bounce off the surface of these, and that's how they were detected? I remember reading that in a newspaper years ago (don't ask me to remember the paper, or the exact details).

God I love that movie. Absolutely fantastic. And it has an important message. If your running for your life from a group of werewolves, DON'T take refuge in their house an eat their dinner. It'll only aggrevate the situation!.

There was some really entertaining moments in this movie, but overall I was kinda dissapointed by it overall. Its not even that the comic was so much better, I just got left with the impression that it was trying too hard to be cool.

@ storminator. The GT40 was designed and built by BRITISH engineers in Britain, specifically, Eric Broadley of Lola Racing Cars. Only the engine was American. That's why all the original cars were right hand drive. There's your Fucking European elistists.

I'm curious, this thing is showing two ships for the French, but I thought the Charles de Gaulle was the only serving carrier in the French fleet. What's the other one? Also, there seems to be one too many Invincible class carriers depicted for the British, we only have two, Ark Royal and Invincible, and the Ocean class landing platform, HMS Ocean.

It can lean up to a 45 degree angel through corners. Surprisingly it ain't that fast, think they quoted only about 8.5 seconds to sixty or something. I'm sure that wouldn't matter if you were inside it tho.

The makers of the film have confirmed that yes the shield was in the film, but as an easter egg for the fans and nothing more. And it was removed from the trailer for obvious reasons.

Its meant to be a pea. Used by Birdseye to advertise frozen peas a couple of years ago. As I remember it, parts would fall off in the ad to simulate that freezing peas means they retain nutrients and vitamins or such crap.

Can't stand this car and its supposed green credentials. 1) There are already more than half a dozen cars being manufactured that produce less co2 and have a higher mpg without the use of a hybrid engine system. 2) Its dust to dust carbon output (which means from construction to disposal and is the only true measure of a product's green credentials) is crap; its only manufactured in Japan, which means its nessessary to ship it worldwide by container vessels. You'd be far better off by buying an efficent vehicle manufactured in your own country. 3) The sulphur used in the electric battery is manufactued at one of the most polluting industrial sites in America; the surrounding land has been completely destroyed by the plant's pollution and nothing can or ever will grow there. This car is just a status symbol, something for the middle class to feel smug and comfortable with their rampant and out of control consumerism. I realise I'm ranting, but some things need to be said.
