First row is 2001 A Space Odyssey, no idea, Solaris, 2001 again, and no idea Second row, no idea except for the 4th one which appears to be Sam Rockwell in Moon Third row starts with Ripley in Alien, no idea, the new Battlestar Galactica's Starbuck, Space 1999 or maybe Lost in Space?, and no clue Fourth row I only recognize Clint Eastwood in Space Cowboys at the beginning. Fifth row, second one is Tom Hanks, Apollo 13, then 2001, no idea, and then 2001 again Sixth row starts with Solaris, no idea, no idea, Ed Harris in Abyss, and then John Hurt in Alien Seventh row, 2001, no idea, no idea, no idea, and then Starbuck again
  • Comment on HK USP Compact Tactical .45 ACP (2010-03-31 11:56:23)
I swear by my SIG 220. 8 shots of .45 ACP, 10 round extended mag available. If you want a gun that looks cool tool, get the 10 round mag and the X300 weapon light, suddenly it looks like you should be hunting cyborgs with it.

Sauce on the second one cause it's doesn't appear to be from the same guy as the first, least I can't find it on his website and these pictures are BADASS! This is GAU-8 and GAU-19 territory. And probably why the marines mount the bushmaster 25 mm cannon on the LAV.

Actually, look at the book pierced by the sword and the Nemesis Force Weapon. I think he's a Grey Knight Grand Master, still technically part of the Inquisition as they are the Ordo Malleus, Demonhunters. They're probably also being supported by a company of Space Marines as Grey Knights aren't known for fielding assault marines and there's a marine in black armor, a standard bearer off to the left.

General rule of Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, it's not gay if they don't make eye contact.
  • Comment on The Trollstigen and the Stelvio Pass (2010-01-15 23:16:02)
I believe the top gear boys took on the Stelvio pass in an Aston Martin, a Porsche, and a Lambo. Driving Heaven
  • Comment on World War Two Heroes (2010-01-11 02:43:14)
Well, the Air Force didn't exist yet, and if you look at the back row, see those wings on those chests, those guys are Army Air Corps Commanders. Also, first row, third from left next to Patton, that appears to be General Carl Spatz, director of the US portion of the strategic bombing campaign of Europe. This picture is probably somewhere deep inside France near the end of the war and as such, any naval forces were several hundred miles away and as it is Europe, the Marines were too busy kicking ass and taking names in the Pacific to care about what the army was doing in Europe. Can anyone identify other others in the picture? I only recognize Ol' Blood and Guts and Omar Bradley
  • Comment on You See Better When... (2009-12-06 18:23:09)
It is true, pupils dilate to gather more light, more blood flows, adrenaline kicks in, the brain processes data faster, it's great

You can land 12 humvees or one M1 Abrams (though just barely, tonnage limit, not size)
  • Comment on A horse in a truck (2009-10-04 12:50:06)
Looks like there's a hole in the back of the cab of the truck that the horse is sticking his head in through.
  • Comment on time-travelling incest is still incest (2009-09-30 00:07:46)
I think this may actually be a reference to the Robert A. Heinlein book, Time Enough For Love. The last part of the book has the main character (now several thousand years old) travel back in time, interested in seeing his original family and the earth of his youth. After meeting his mother for the first time he nearly leaves right then and there because he realized that like a damned fool, he's fallen in love with his own mother and that the attraction was indeed mutual. Of course I could be wrong
