This kind of thinking always pisses me off, it's always "it COULD happen!" or "IF IF IF IF IF IF IF IF!!!!" It's never just solid facts. Yeah, all of that stuff COULD happen, but I look at these things a lot like predicting the weather. Yeah, it MIGHT be sunny, but you know what, it could probably snow, too. I cannot seriously respect the kind of people that come up with this kind of "Think green!" and "omg think of the planet!" type of panic that they try to shove into our faces. I'm willing to bet whoever made this poster has a cell phone and that makes them a hypocrite.
