Yeah, that's a mybad. My Pocket Ref seems to have grown legs and walked away so I googled the weight and concrete came up instead of cement. Either way, it's under-measured in the math part given his height.

As I understand it the lead was more of a Anti-Body Snatching measure. You can't just smash through the top or sides to break open the coffin. But yeah. Solid Walnut dyed/stained to resemble Ebony. That part always slips my mind.

A pound of feathers weighs exactly the same as a pound of lead. + depending on the density of aggregate used in concrete the concrete casing weighted between 105 and 145 lbs per cubic foot. Plus Lincoln himself weighted 180 lbs and his coffin alone weighed 200 lbs. Lets average out the concrete to 115 lbs. 115(concrete)+180(Lincoln)+50(lead)+200(Coffin)= 545 pounds of dead guy they needed to move.

I checked for a placard, or tried to. The window tinting (on all the windows BTW) was so dark it was impossible to tell. The wheel-wells and bumpers are scratched and dinged all to hell (you can kind of see it but all I had was my cell phone) so I have no idea what he thought he was protecting.

I know. I don't even like ANY of the Batman movies, but the pissy fan-boys out there are really starting to get to me. It's just not my go-to thing. I've actually had fun at some of the Batman movies and some of the comics are great and they're legendary for a reason. Cool if you like it, cool if you don't just wait till you've I don't know... seen the actual movie maybe before you bitch about what an affront it is to your nerd-pride. Is that so hard?

Stop judging it for the actor and look at that photo. Think old angry, dispassionate Batman. He's been doing this for 10, 15, 20 years and nothing gotten any better and now this alien mofo landed and destroyed most of a large city and Batman's pissed that he's now he's got to go deal with that SOB on top of everything. He's likely read the Flag Code and knows it's both disrespectful and illegal to wear the flag or the flag's design as clothing. Hence he wears a representation of the flag while still having the proper respect for it as a symbol.
