oddly enough, I'd say a good 90+% of the problems with prostitution could be solved by legalizing and regulating it... Legalize it, and the girls who choose to sell their bodies would be able to do so without going through "shady" individuals. Regulate it, and the law can more easily look after the safety and health of the girls and their clients because both could go to the authorities when something happened without fear of ending up in jail themselves. Granted, it wouldn't solve all the problems. There'd still be "underground" sex trafficking. And sex slavery is a whole other ball of wax that needs to be stamped out all together.
