Ooh, I didn't know there are dishwasher-safe keyboards now. Next time I spill my coffee on mine, I'm going to look into those. My bro-in-law got this keyboard for free somehow. After trying it out, I'm inclined to agree with everything Dreth just said, excluding the last "pathetic". Trading my number-pad for some buttons that perform functions already accomplished by two keystrokes on the letter keys is a non-starter.

I had some of this a few months ago, but it wasn't the 100-year-old stuff. I tried it the traditional way, with sugar and water added and decided that enhancing the anise flavor with sweetness just made it nastier. I ended up taking slugs from the bottle. My friends and I had fun watching each other making faces after taking slugs.

A good way to appear ignorant is to refer to all Latinos as Mexican. Most of them aren't even from the same continent as Mexico. I live in Arlington VA. In my neighborhood, any fast food joint is staffed with people who have a rudimentary grasp of English at best. It sometimes is extremely frustrating. Oddly enough, the Taco Bell near my house is about the only place not operated by Latinos. It's run by Arabs, as far as I can tell.

More on Bush-bashing: I think that Bush will be remembered years from now in much the same way as McCarthy. Bashing McCarthy hasn't really gotten old yet either, and it's been 54 years since his heyday.

I also think these shoes are stupid. I think Bush deserves to be ridiculed however, and I can't blame people for doing so. It'll take a long time for Bush-bashing to get old for me. I'd like people to remember him and maybe not vote for someone like him in my lifetime again. Admittedly, bashing isn't necessarily the best way to do that though. Here's hoping Giles is wrong about being just as screwed with Obama. I concede the possibility; but think it extremely unlikely.

Last time I drove under that bridge, the graffiti had been removed. It made me kind of sad. Maybe someone braver than I will repaint it. There's no way that statue is solid gold.
