It's the slices of gherkin ("pickles") that make it South African. A lot of hamburger places here put gherkins on their burgers... yummy!

This is a great movie. Had to watch it four times before I "got" it, but it's still a great movie! "Use more hornets! Find out what she knows!!" and "Where are we going?" "Planet Ten!" "When?" "Real soon!"

Was the latest movie the weird demon possession one? My word but that was terrible. The series, however, is the best sci-fi series ever made. It's better than Star Trek - and ST is my favourite sci-fi series. But B5 is still better.

Isn't that facility closed now? I read somewhere (maybe Gateworld) that they only kept it open while Stargate SG-1 was still running, and finally closed it after it got cancelled. Now THAT'S TV having an impact on real life!

Look! It's the Daedalus! No, wait, it could be the Odyssey! Or the Apollo. They all look the same! But at least the control tower is on the correct side. After whining that the ship shouldn't be "reversible" but rather like an aircraft carrier, the SFX guys had to spend more money to render the ship depending on which way it was going. That lasted like five minutes and now the control tower on top switches sides with amazing regularity. It's really, really, REALLY annoying! The first thing I said when I saw the Daedalus was, "Hey! It looks like the Battlestar Galactica!" And no one agreed with me until now!
