Ladies and gentlemen, I believe I have the "awesome things" recurring post fixed and working as god intended. Only took me about 2 weeks of plugging away at it, but now I have a custom built function for the site to get the first image from a post, even if it doesn't have an image!

what I think that's from is when the nonce is set on www.myconfinedspace.com (root site) and we attempt to comment on one of the sub sites like www.myconfinedspace.com/video/ the plugin thinks it's on the root site, but it isn't, it's on a totally different site.

Ah, I wanted to say Fantastic Voyage, but I knew that was about getting small. I remember this as one of the first post-apocalyptic stories I remember seeing, iirc at one point the atmosphere of the entire planet is set on fire and they have to dive deep to escape it? It was a tv show too I think.
