I actually like the look of the Aluminum Grill on the thing, even though I usually despise those. I hate the fake Maserati-esque Air entrances some people put in their cars (although this one doesn't seem to have those, but instead some form of... triangle metal thing). Overall it doesn't look too bad, if the rims weren't chrome but white or black I think it would be a pretty good looking car.

On the Nascar Comment: Although Nascar is a drive left for 5 hours contest for the most part, it still requires intrinsic knowledge and familiarity with the car they drive, just like any other racer, such as F-1, F-3 any WRC (These may know the most) etc. Also, as much as I hate to admit it, Nascar does have mixed courses.

It's simply built to look like two different cars each side. I'd imagine this car has a mighty radiator (or two) to dissipate that heat without the aid of any metal parts but the engine it self (wood just doesn't cut it when it comes to absorbing heat).
