Megan Fox blah blah. Whatever. What about Jonah Hex?!? One of my favorite DC comics characters, love the original comic, really love the current one by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti. It's probably the best on-going DC title you're not reading. I also get really, really excited whenever he shows up in DC cartoons. He had a feature in an episode of Batman: TAS, season three I believe, it was also a Ras' al Ghul episode too, I think. And he was in an episode of Justice League Unlimited along with Batlash and El Diablo. I haven't seen all the episodes of Batman: The Brave and the Bold yet, (waiting for the season 1 dvd) but I'm sure he's probably popped up there as well. Really excited about this movie. Brolin's an outstanding actor, and what's not to love about "zombie western"?

Hm, looks like it needed more sugar on top before burning. A neat little trick to get a really nice dark crust without having to stand there torching for ever is to mix a little brown sugar in with your regular granulated before topping it off.

Awesome to see...however, what is not awesome is when you and a group of friends decide to walk out to see it in the middle of the night, drunk, and you're wearing slippers. Terrible. sub_human, were you with us that night? I don't remember.

She does, although it wasn't necessarily because she was a good actor. In the special features, there is a 'making of' documentary, and the director (Tarsem) took a pretty unique approach to working with a child actor. They basically lied to her the whole time. She had no idea that Lee Pace could walk, in fact almost no one on the set knew he could walk or that his name was Lee Pace, they all just called him Roy and had crew members wheel him around in a wheelchair. Then, after all the hospital scenes were shot, they revealed to her that he could walk.

It's usually put before the name when there is a list of more than one name, that wasn't the case here, but since I already had plans for another parenthesis after it, I did as such. The comma explains all.

I think my favorite part of this picture is the neckticles dangling in the breeze there. Now all we need is a Cassowary vs. Goblin Shark in an Impossible Animal Deathmatch, the winner going on to face the reigning heavyweight champ, Duck-Billed Platypus.

You are correct sir! That episode was "Almost Got 'Em" and was one of my favorite episodes from that show. LOVED the commentary. When I heard that part, I couldn't believe that someone else went through the same thing as me. "I hit him with a rock!"

I read once that native warriors in New Guinea that were actually able to kill the bird would keep their claws as both a weapon and as a status symbol. If you carried a Cassowary claw you were considered to be a great and feared warrior.

Dose had another supergroup during the early anticon days called the Stuffed Animals. The lineup was Dose, Sole, Circus, Why?, and Pedestrian. I'm not sure how much music they put out, but I've heard one album. Not nearly as good as it should have been.
