I'm a wingsuit skydiver, just like the guy in the first picture (by the way, his name is Mike Swearingen, known to the wingsuit community as "Purple Mike"). That type of skydive is referred to as a "rodeo". Landing off (as in, not on the dropzone) happens with rodeos a lot, because often the rider (invariably a girl, if it's Purple), sometimes doesn't hold on well - it's harder than it looks. The better pics are from skydiving events in tropical places (often Puerto Rico or Belize) - bikinis or topless. I'll try to track a few shots down and post them.

You'd be wrong. You've assumed that air resistance (the reason for terminal velocity) is constant. It's not. It decreases with altitude. I skydive regularly (pics at skwrl.smugmug.com) In a standard (non-wingsuit) freefall, I go ~130mph, but that's only because I am jumping at less than 14,000 feet typically. - Comment on Skydive (2009-07-15 19:29:03)

My 2008 MiniCooper S convertible's owner's manual recommends that the first service and oil change occur at 15,000 miles. So, while the other poster's 21,000 is high, your statement about 10,000 isn't correct either. Tormado, you don't get it, do you? "Question Authority" is a logical loop. If the poster in the picture is an "authority" (after all, it's telling you to do something and you're listening), you end up having to question the poster... The joke works better when it's "Question Everything". God, when you have to explain humor to people, it ceases to be funny...
