Agree with all that. And you're right if someone at work did something I didn't want to be associated with, I'd make damn sure I wasn't lumped in with them. No, not completely at random, no. That would be ludicrous. People who are anti-fascist tend to turn up when they know there will be fascists. And have done for years. I went to anti-Nazi counter protests 20+ years ago, just me and a buddy or two and we weren't in communication with anybody - we just turned up where we knew there would be fascists. And guess what? We always found like-minded people. This isn't a difficult concept...

You can't be a member of Antifa. Antifa, as an organisation, doesn't exist - despite the right's protestations to the contrary. It simply stands for "anti-fascist", which is exactly what that image (Normandy landings?) is depicting. It's a political stance. It's not like the Proud boys (or simply 'Fa', if you prefer) - there's no dues to pay or uniform or dumbass little initiation rituals.

It's not a statistic - it's a hypothetical. But that aside, you know as well as I do that there must be many, many cops that see something amiss with their fellow officers and choose to say nothing. It's certainly far, far more than a "handful" You don't need "deep knowledge" of everyone to be able to spot someone who is behaving in a way they shouldn't - especially is you're a cop and should be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. The adage of "see something, say something" should be part of the endemic culture in the police, not fucking optional.

I think you can if charges have been filed maybe even if the offence has been committed and is known to the authorities. So he could just pardon "everyone who committed X crime in X location on X date." What he can't do, as I understand it, is just say "I pardon Ivanka of any and all crimes." But I'm no expert, I just half-remember hearing that on Opening Arguments. I guess we'll find out tomorrow and Wednesday. *makes popcorn sounds*
