Oh, I see what you mean. But given that he's the man he made the Devil's Backbone, I'd say he's qualified to make an homage. And it's not like people haven't ripped off the Haunting of Hill House repeatedly over the decades, and for good reason: that novel and the 1963 adaptation are masterpieces. I mean, c'mon, "and whatever walked there, walked alone" is just solid spine-chilling gold.

My guess is the woman with Iceman is Opal Tanaka, and the one on Beast's back is Trish Tilby, their respective girlfriends at the time. The girl posing with Colossus is obviously Jubilee, and the lady Gambit is creeping on... I have no idea.

I love that Logan's idea of a swimsuit is denim shorts. He probably just cut the legs off his jeans and called it a day. Also, Rogue... awfully considerate of her to wear gloves, but those thighs can kill someone.

This story takes place before The Big Fat Kill story from the first movie, and between them, Clive's character Dwight has plastic surgery that changes his appearance, something referenced in the first movie when Shellie (Brittany Murphy) talks about him showing up "with that new face of his" or something like that. So, pre-surgery Dwight will be played by Josh Brolin. Hope that clears things up.
