4 times while living with my parents, twice living on my own. Only interesting thing to note is that the first time on my own I had a roommate that was such a pig, when I finally moved out I had to throw out my couch because it had absorbed so much stink from her house. We opened the back of the U-haul and the stench just rolled out. How bad was it living there? She wouldn't wash dishes until she ran out of clean ones. When I finally gave up and stopped using the kitchen altogether and let her have it to herself there were literally maggots in the sink. If I didn't empty the trash it would just keep overflowing until it was filled with maggots too. She only emptied her cats' litter box about twice a week (hence the smelly couch), and the cats weren't neutered so they sprayed everywhere, including on my furniture. By the end I was just living in my bedroom with the door shut, searching the classifieds for a new place.

I saw this as in in a plane on a trans-Atlantic flight. It was worth watching to pass the time, but I thought it was a bit hokey, especially the ending. I'd rate it 2½ out of 5 "meh"s.

King does that a lot. A lot of his stories just... end. If you saw the movie "The Mist", the last five minutes of that wasn't in the novella. As King wrote it, they were driving away in the SUV, still seeing occasional monsters and not sure what lies ahead... the end. Another example is "The Raft" from the book "Skeleton Crew" (a collection of short stories). It was in the movie Creepshow 2, but again, that ending wasn't in the book. King wrote it with the guy just stranded on the raft, wishing he had a gun so he could shoot himself.
